Vets

  • Promote your practice by being involved in your community
  • Educate the next generation of pet owners
  • Promote socially responsible pet ownership in your own community

The AVA Pets and People Education Program (AVA PetPEP) is a great way to show your community that you care about their pets.

Veterinarians and veterinary nurses visit local primary schools along with other volunteers to deliver engaging interactive lessons about pet ownership, responsibilities, and safety.

This is your opportunity to help educate the next generation of pet owners – the ones who live in your own community.

You’ll be promoting socially responsible pet ownership while also demonstrating in a practical way that your practice is a caring member of your community.

With requests for school visits increasing all the time, the AVA needs your help now to keep providing this important community service.

You can offer your own services or those of your staff, and it's a great way to promote the value of your practice to your local community.
