How to get involved
Step 1
Contact AVA PetPEP in your state and sign up as a supporter.
Step 2
Soon after your details have been received we will send you an AVA PetPEP Information Kit, which will include a contract outlining your agreement with the AVA.
Step 3
The AVA PetPEP Team will then work with you to promote the program to the schools in your local area. You will also receive a resource pack complete with everything you need for your school visits. The pack includes:
- Tips for presenting at school visits
- Promotional material
- Outlines/templates for your presentation
- Activity sheets.
Step 4
When a booking has been received from a school in your local area, you will be contacted and asked to provide a volunteer to visit a local school.
All coordination and resourcing of the school visit will be done by the AVA PetPEP team. They will make the arrangements, make sure everyone knows what's needed, and help you prepare your presentations.
A member of the AVA PetPEP team in your state or territory is available to discuss details of your involvement or to answer any questions you may have about the program.
